Engage with students (grades 7–12) and educators through interactive exhibits, hands-on demos, and innovation stations. Inspire the next generation of Connecticut’s workforce.
Midday: SWCT Manufacturing Partnership Q4 Meeting (Executives Only)
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM
An invitation-only session for manufacturing executives and leaders, held in the same venue.
Afternoon: Careers in Manufacturing Expo
3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Recruit job seekers, interns, and apprentices. Meet motivated candidates at all career levels—from entry-level talent to experienced professionals.

When students meet manufacturers, good things happen. When job seekers connect with employers, futures are built. When leaders interact together, best practices are shared.
That’s the idea behind the Careers in Manufacturing | Roadshow & Expo — with the RSP Meeting for leaders during lunch. A full-day event designed to inspire the next generation, connect today’s workforce with opportunity, and network with fellow manufacturers.
Morning:
CT Manufacturing Careers Roadshow
(9 AM – 12 PM)
Hundreds of middle and high school students and educators will join you to explore manufacturing through hands-on learning and direct interaction with you, the employers.
Highlights include:
- Innovation stations with live demonstrations
- A student questionnaire to spark engagement
- Virtual reality career simulations
- Mobile training labs with CNC and 3D printing
- Robotics and cobot demos that link STEAM skills to career pathways
For manufacturers: showcase your technology and inspire tomorrow’s talent pipeline.

Afternoon:
Careers in Manufacturing Expo
(3 PM – 6 PM)
The region’s largest manufacturing career fair, connecting you with job seekers, interns, and apprentices.
This is your chance to:
- Recruit today’s workforce
- Inspire job seekers to join your company
- Engage with other manufacturing companies across the region
Exhibitor tables are FREE thanks to support from the University of Bridgeport and The Southwest Connecticut Manufacturing Partnership.
Lunchtime:
Networking, Tours and Lunch
(12:15 PM – 2:45 PM)
Exhibitors will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch, tour UB’s Advanced Manufacturing Center and Emerging Technology Lab, and network. This is also a great opportunity to take a break from the morning session, inspiring the future talent and prepare to build your bench with job seekers.
Manufacturing leaders will be invited to the Q4 Southwest CT Manufacturing Partnership Meeting from 12:30 – 2:30 PM where lunch will be available for the leaders.
